A Marketing Success: Viagra
If you’ve watched any sporting event on tv over the last few years, especially the NFL, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve seen a few commercials for the little blue pill, otherwise known as Viagra.
Being I’m an advertising guy, I don’t have a problem with companies marketing their products.
And since the target demographic for Pfizer’s little blue wonder is middle-aged men, it makes complete business sense to advertise when and where they do.
Now, all that being said. It’s a bit unnerving for me when I watch these games with my two young boys who have no idea what the product is designed to do.
All I know is that they go around the house singing the jingle…. Viva….
That’s marketing at its finest.
