At Candle DeLights, we believe each candle is more than just a source of light: it provides a complete sensory experience and is a perfect mood setter. To ensure your candle burns as beautifully as it was crafted, we've created this simple guide to its care.

 

Setting the Stage:

• Trim: Before each burn, gently trim the wick to 1/4 inch using a wick trimmer or sharp scissors. This prevents soot and allows for an even burn.
• Location: Choose a stable, heat-resistant surface for your candle, away from drafts and combustible materials. Keep out of reach of children and pets.
• First Burn: For an even burn throughout the life of your candle, allow the wax to melt completely across the surface during the first burn. This will create a 'memory ring' for future burns preventing tunnelling and maximising fragrance throw. This typically takes 1-2 hours.

 

Please be advised: Our candles are meticulously handcrafted, resulting in subtle color variations and a frosted appearance. These unique characteristics are a natural effect of our use of soy wax and will not impact the candle's performance.
